Create Histogram
Everything you need to know to create the chart you want.
Overview
Histograms group continuous data into bins and display the frequency of values within each range. They reveal distribution shape, skewness, and outliers.
When to use it
Analysing distribution of metrics (session length, order value).
Identifying skew, multimodal patterns, or spread.
Comparing distribution between two groups (with overlaid histograms or grouped columns).
Avoid histograms when categories are discrete and few—stick to bar charts instead.
Data requirements
Single numeric dataset; the plugin bins values automatically.
Optional dataset name for legend.
